More than 600 luxury handbags, accessories and fine jewellery linked to Singapore’s S$3 billion money laundering case have gone under the hammer online, with the first two auctions expected to raise up to S$3.9 million.
The auctions, hosted by Hotlotz, feature 624 items comprising 338 handbags and accessories and 286 jewellery pieces. They are expected to fetch between S$2.9 million and S$3.9 million, with bidding closing on 20 and 27 September respectively.
Among the headline lots is a 15.02-carat fancy yellow diamond ring carrying the highest starting bid of S$180,000. A limited edition Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama Pumpkin Bag and a Chanel “Success Story” collection of four mini bags and a quilted trunk each start at S$10,000.
The jewellery auction also includes an Hermes Kelly diamond bracelet with an opening bid of S$80,000, alongside Cartier and Graff diamond rings starting between S$30,000 and S$65,000.
Hotlotz charges a 20% buyer’s premium on top of the winning bid, including Singapore’s goods and services tax, although the tax can be waived for foreign buyers.
The two sales are the first in a series of 15 online auctions running from September 2026 to May 2027. The items were handed to Deloitte by the police for liquidation in August 2025, with proceeds to be paid into the Singapore Government’s Consolidated Fund.
Bidders worldwide can participate but must register and pass identity verification checks, while viewings are available by appointment at Le Freeport in Changi.
