Farm Price Completes Main Market Transfer, Eyes Wider Investor Base

Farm Price Holdings Bhd has successfully moved from Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market to the Main Market, marking a key corporate milestone just over two years after its initial listing in May 2024.

The transfer covers the group’s entire issued share capital and warrants, with Farm Price continuing to trade as “FPHB” under stock code “0304” in the Consumer Products & Services sector.

Managing Director Dr Lawrence Tiong Lee Chian said the move is expected to strengthen the group’s market standing and broaden its appeal to investors.

“We believe this also enables us to engage with a broader investor base, including institutional and long-term strategic investors,” Tiong added.

Following the transfer, Farm Price is preparing to commence operations at its expanded Senai Centralised Distribution Centre while increasing its presence across Malaysia and Singapore.

The group is also stepping up its pre-packed vegetables and ready-to-cook product lines, with Singapore identified as a key market. These products are aimed at reducing preparation time for customers while supporting more consistent supply and recurring demand.

Farm Price is also advancing its digitalisation programme through a proprietary customer ordering app, barcode-based inventory scanning and the use of artificial intelligence across selected business and operational functions.

On the shareholder front, Farm Price said its board is evaluating an appropriate dividend distribution based on the group’s financial performance, cash flow, capital requirements and future growth plans.

As of midday, the stock is trading 34.5 sen with a turnover volume of 188,300 shares.
