IHH Healthcare Bhd said the Tokyo District Court has dismissed all claims brought by its unit Northern TK Venture Pte Ltd (NTK) against Daiichi Sankyo Company Ltd, with NTK ordered to bear the costs of the litigation.
The medical group said the court delivered its judgment on Sept 10, 2026, dismissing NTK’s claims in their entirety.
The litigation forms part of a long-running matter previously disclosed by IHH in a series of announcements dating back to July 2018, with the latest prior update made on Sept 1, 2026.
IHH said NTK disagrees with the court’s decision and remains confident in the merits of its position.
“NTK is reviewing the judgment in detail with its legal counsel and is evaluating all legal remedies to pursue the relief it believes is warranted,” the healthcare group said.
It added that NTK remains committed to protecting its rights and interests through appropriate legal channels.
IHH did not specify in the latest announcement which legal remedy NTK intends to pursue following the Tokyo District Court’s decision.
The company said it will make further announcements should there be any material developments in the matter.
