Southern Score Builders Bhd has secured a RM180 million contract to undertake the main building works for a private hospital development in Hang Tuah Jaya, Melaka.
The contract was awarded on Sept 11 to its wholly-owned subsidiary by Radium Hospital Ayer Keroh Sdn Bhd.
The project, located at Bukit Katil, Melaka Tengah, comprises several phases, including a three-storey car park block, a mechanical and electrical utility building, a seven-storey private hospital, a refuse house, a vacuum insulated evaporator tank site and a sewage treatment pump house.
Southern Score said the total contract sum of RM180 million excludes sales and service tax, where applicable.
The scope of works includes the supply of plant, materials, tools, equipment, temporary works, labour and supervision required for the project.
The company said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s net assets and earnings per share from the financial year ending June 30, 2027 onwards until completion of the project.
