Camila Cabello is stepping into a new fragrance role with Tommy Hilfiger. The singer has been named the brand’s global ambassador for fragrance as Tommy Hilfiger launches TOMMY HILFIGER Freedom Eau de Parfum, its first new prestige women’s fragrance in more than a decade.
The campaign, directed by Gordon von Steiner, features Cabello performing her own version of Queen’s “I Want To Break Free.” She appears in a red dress as part of the campaign’s visual direction.
Freedom combines lychee, magnolia blossom and vanilla blue. The fragrance was created by perfumers Honorine Blanc and Alexandra Monet and is described by Tommy Hilfiger as a “Clean Amber” scent.
The campaign also brings music back into the brand’s fragrance advertising. Previous campaigns have featured artists including Beyoncé and Enrique Iglesias.
For Cabello, the appointment adds a fragrance campaign to her ongoing work in music. In a statement, she said the campaign focuses on individuality and self-expression.
The fragrance is housed in a bottle with a red, white and blue colour scheme. It features a heavy glass base, triangular shape, ribbed glass detailing and a red monogrammed cap.
Freedom will launch in September 2026 in 100ml, 50ml, 30ml and 10ml sizes. Prices range from €29 for 10ml to €79 for 100ml.
The fragrance is being developed, manufactured and distributed worldwide by Give Back Beauty as part of its long-term partnership with Tommy Hilfiger.
