RIMOWA and Faber-Castell are putting pencils, colour and travel into one case. The two German brands have teamed up on a limited-edition artist case that combines RIMOWA’s aluminium luggage design with Faber-Castell’s drawing tools.
The RIMOWA x Faber-Castell Artist Case is made from anodised aluminium at RIMOWA’s factory in Cologne. It comes in silver and features a leather handle based on the brand’s Classic collection.
Inside, the case holds 120 Polychromos colour pencils, along with co-branded 2B graphite pencils. A platinum-plated sharpener and eraser are also included.
The interior uses a two-level tray to keep the tools organised. The tray can also be opened to display the full set.
The collaboration arrives as Faber-Castell marks its 265th anniversary. Founded in 1761, the company is now in its ninth generation of family ownership.
RIMOWA’s aluminium exterior is also designed to change with use. Over time, the surface develops a patina, giving each case a different appearance.
The RIMOWA x Faber-Castell Artist Case launches September 17, 2026, at a retail price of €2,400. It comes with a two-year guarantee.
The case will be available at RIMOWA stores worldwide and through RIMOWA’s online store. Faber-Castell will also sell it through its German retail stores and online stores in Austria, France, Germany and Italy.
