Binastra Corporation Bhd shares were unchanged at RM2.49 as of 10.54 am, with the construction group holding onto recent gains after reporting a 73% jump in first-half profit to RM92.7 million.
The stock opened at RM2.49 and traded between an intraday high of RM2.52 and a low of RM2.48. Some 865,300 shares changed hands.
Binastra had closed at RM2.49 in the previous trading session, putting the latest price unchanged.
The latest performance follows the group’s results for the six months ended July 31, 2026, which saw revenue nearly double to RM1.3 billion from a year earlier.
Second-quarter revenue rose 65.9% to RM658.4 million, while quarterly PAT surged 90.1% to RM54 million. The construction segment remained the main contributor, supported by data centre projects, conventional construction, solar installation work and contributions from newly acquired LF Lansen Sdn Bhd.
Binastra also secured a RM500 million letter of award during the quarter for a proposed data centre development, taking its outstanding order book to about RM6.7 billion as at end-July.
The group expects the order book to provide earnings visibility over the next four financial years, with continued demand for data centres and industrial facilities in Johor and Selangor supporting its construction pipeline.
Binastra has also declared an interim dividend of four sen per share for FY2027, with entitlement set for Oct 5 and payment on Oct 16.
