Vestland Bhd has secured a RM107.6 million contract to undertake slope mitigation works in Terengganu, lifting its year-to-date contract wins to RM1.6 billion.
The contract, awarded by Ambang Besar Sdn Bhd to wholly owned subsidiary Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd, involves construction and associated slope mitigation works at a reservoir catchment area.
Construction is scheduled to begin on Oct 2, 2026, and is expected to be completed within 32 months.
Vestland joint managing director Datuk Seri Justin Soo Sze Ching said the latest award further strengthens the group’s presence in infrastructure and expands its civil engineering portfolio.
“Slope mitigation plays a critical role in safeguarding reservoir catchment areas and protecting the surrounding infrastructure and communities,” he said.
Soo added that Vestland would continue pursuing infrastructure opportunities aligned with its core capabilities and long-term growth strategy.
The latest award marks Vestland’s eighth new contract secured so far this year, bringing their combined value to RM1.6 billion.
The wins have lifted the group’s total outstanding order book to RM2 billion, providing greater earnings visibility across its building construction and civil engineering businesses.
Vestland said the latest contract reflects continued order book replenishment and its expanding footprint in infrastructure-related projects.
