Zetrix AI Bhd said payment of its final cash dividend will be delayed to on or before Sept 23, 2026, after its share registrar received an ad-interim injunction relating to certain central depository system (CDS) accounts.
The company had originally scheduled payment of the cash portion of its 2.89 sen final single-tier dividend for Sept 18.
Zetrix AI said its share registrar received the sealed ad-interim injunction granted by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Sept 14, following an application by a substantial shareholder of the company.
According to the company, the injunction seeks to prevent payment of cash dividends to certain CDS accounts which the substantial shareholder claims to beneficially own.
The substantial shareholder had cited the alleged failure of nominees to comply with instructions to elect for shares under the company’s dividend reinvestment plan (DRP) instead of receiving cash.
Following receipt of the injunction, Zetrix AI’s share registrar said additional processing time was required to exclude the cash dividend attributable to the affected CDS accounts from payments to other shareholders.
As a result, the broader cash dividend payment will be delayed and is expected to be completed by Sept 23.
The company said the DRP process remains unaffected for shareholders other than the substantial shareholder involved in the injunction.
For those shareholders, new Zetrix AI shares arising from the DRP will continue to be allotted and issued on Sept 18, with listing and quotation on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market expected on Sept 21.
The DRP applies to the entire portion of Zetrix AI’s final single-tier dividend of 2.89 sen per share for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025.
