Zetrix AI Bhd group managing director Wong Thean Soon has disposed of another 7.43 million shares in the company for an estimated RM1.47 million, continuing a series of share disposals in recent weeks.
The company said Wong disposed of 629,131 shares held directly at 20 sen apiece on Sept 21, representing approximately 0.008% of the company’s issued shares, excluding treasury shares.
He also disposed of 6.80 million shares held indirectly at 19.7 sen each, equivalent to approximately 0.086% of the company’s shares.
The two transactions involved a combined 7,430,541 shares, representing approximately 0.094% of Zetrix AI, based on the percentages disclosed in the filing.
The latest disposals come amid a substantial reduction in Wong’s shareholding since late August.
On Sept 22, The Edge reported that Wong’s combined direct and indirect interest had fallen to approximately 11.06%, following further share disposals on Sept 17 and 18.
His investment vehicle, Asia Internet Holdings Sdn Bhd, also ceased to be a substantial shareholder after disposing of 57 million shares on Sept 18, reducing its stake to approximately 4.87%.
Earlier this month, BusinessToday reported that Wong had disposed of 277.03 million shares held directly and indirectly over Sept 3 and 4.
The latest filing did not disclose the identities of the buyers or the reasons for the Sept 21 disposals.
