Juris Technologies Sdn Bhd (JurisTech) has deployed the end-to-end lending technology platform powering Proton Capital Sdn Bhd, Proton’s newly launched automotive financing business, completing the implementation in just 3.5 months.
The platform supports Proton Capital’s financing lifecycle from customer origination through to loan contract management, providing the technology backbone needed to operate and scale the new business.
Proton Capital, launched on Sept 21, currently offers conventional hire-purchase financing for new PROTON vehicles through 12 participating outlets in the Klang Valley. Customers can receive an initial financing decision within one working day.
JurisTech’s wider lending platform supports financial institutions across digital onboarding, origination, credit decisioning, loan management, collections and recovery.
JurisTech CEO and Co-Founder See Wai Hun said establishing Proton Capital required more than simply implementing a lending system, as the new business needed technology capable of supporting the entire financing lifecycle while remaining flexible enough to grow.
“We are very proud that our teams were able to deliver that foundation in just 3.5 months,” she said.
The platform is also designed to support Proton Capital as it progressively introduces new products and serves different customer segments.
Proton Capital CEO Song Tao said bringing financing closer to the vehicle ownership process would allow the company to develop more integrated and responsive solutions for different customer groups.
JurisTech also supports automotive financing models across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, including credit assessment and digital onboarding capabilities for global automotive companies.
