Divfex Bhd (DFX) has secured two supply agreements worth a combined RM120.12 million for equipment to support the fit-out of a 15MW data centre in Penang.
DFX said its wholly-owned subsidiary Diversified Gateway Bhd (DGB) and 51%-owned subsidiary Excel Commerce Solutions Sdn Bhd (Excel) signed separate agreements on Sept 30 with a Malaysian-incorporated data centre company.
The identity of the purchaser was not disclosed due to confidentiality obligations.
Under the first agreement, DGB will supply generator sets, transformers, switchgear and low-voltage equipment worth RM84.44 million.
Under the second agreement, Excel will supply cables worth RM35.67 million.
The combined value of both contracts amounts to RM120.12 million.
DFX said deliveries are expected to be completed within three months from the first delivery, although the timeline may be extended by up to six months if mutually agreed in writing.
