Sunway Bhd has terminated its wholly-owned Sunway Residence Trust in Singapore after the trust remained dormant following a group reorganisation completed in December 2024.
The group said the trust was terminated on Oct 6 with the approval of its sole registered unitholder.
Sunway Residence Trust was constituted in Singapore under a deed of trust dated Oct 16, 2019, and is wholly owned by Sunway Residence Trust II, which in turn is held through Sunway RE Capital Pte Ltd.
Sunway RE Capital is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway City Sdn Bhd, which is wholly owned by Sunway.
Sunway said the trust had remained dormant since the completion of a reorganisation exercise on Dec 19, 2024.
