AmBank Group has opened a new flagship branch along Jalan Kelawei in George Town, Penang, as part of its push to expand wealth management services for affluent and high-net-worth clients.
The branch houses both AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) and AmPrivate Banking, bringing priority banking, private banking and wealth management services under one roof.
Located in a restored Heritage Class 2 bungalow, the branch is designed to provide clients with greater privacy and access to dedicated relationship managers, personalised banking services and wealth management solutions.
AmBank said the opening reflects growing demand from more affluent Malaysians for advisory-led banking and broader wealth solutions beyond traditional deposit and lending products.
Cheong Chee Wai, Managing Director of Retail Banking at AmBank Group, said affluent clients increasingly expect trusted advice, convenience and services tailored to their financial circumstances.
