DNeX Reaches Settlement With CGP Fund, Ends SilTerra Shareholder Dispute

Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) has reached a global settlement with Beijing Integrated Circuit Advanced Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Equity Investment Fund Center (Limited Partnership) (CGP Fund) and related parties, bringing to an end all outstanding arbitration and litigation between the shareholders of SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

DNeX said the settlement was reached on a mutual basis without any admission of liability and with no compensation payable, apart from reimbursement of legal-related costs between the parties.

The settlement has been recorded as a consent order before the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.

DNeX said the agreement preserves the existing shareholding structure in SilTerra and formally closes the shareholder dispute.

The company added that SilTerra’s operations were not disrupted throughout the dispute, with no impact on its day-to-day business, customer commitments, workforce or partnerships.

With the matter resolved, DNeX said the two shareholders are now aligned on SilTerra’s long-term direction, allowing the foundry to focus on execution and growth.

DNeX said it intends to continue supporting SilTerra’s expansion in strategic semiconductor segments, including silicon photonics, which is increasingly used in artificial intelligence data centres and next-generation AI infrastructure.

The settlement brings a prolonged shareholder dispute to a close and removes a key overhang surrounding SilTerra, while leaving its ownership structure unchanged.
