Protasco Bhd said its subsidiary Roadcare (M) Sdn Bhd has been instructed by the Public Works Department to prepare an inventory of equipment, materials and fixtures within its federal road maintenance concession area ahead of the concession’s expiry on Feb 16, 2027.
The group said Roadcare received a letter from JKR on Thursday requesting that the inventory be provided to the government no later than six months before the concession expires.
The concession relates to the maintenance of federal roads in the Central-Eastern regions.
The latest announcement follows Protasco’s earlier disclosure on Dec 19, 2025 concerning the concession.
Protasco did not disclose any extension or renewal of the concession in the latest filing.
Roadcare is a subsidiary of Protasco and undertakes road maintenance activities under the federal concession arrangement.
