Vietjet will launch a new Ho Chi Minh City-Maldives service via Colombo on Dec 5, opening another route for Malaysian travellers heading to the island destination.
The service will operate three times a week and is included in a three-day promotional sale running until Oct 10, with one-way Eco fares from RM268 including taxes and fees and 20 per cent off Deluxe base fares.
The promotion covers flights connecting Kuala Lumpur with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, with travel available between Oct 8 and Sept 30, 2027, subject to blackout dates.
The new Maldives service is part of Vietjet’s wider international network expansion, with Hanoi-Almaty and Hanoi-Prague services also scheduled to begin on Oct 10.
Later this month, the airline will add routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Clark in the Philippines and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
Vietjet said bookings for the new Maldives service are now open.
