PGMall has partnered with JD Worldwide to provide a new avenue for local sellers to showcase their product globally in China market.
This long-term partnership will see both e-commerce platforms combining their resources while presenting a tremendous opportunity as well supporting local entrepreneurs’ growth.
In line with its tagline ‘Bridging Local to the World’, the new marketplace will enable Chinese consumer to gain access to diversified Malaysian products offered by sellers in PG platform,m which will then be delivered into the JD Worldwide logistic in China.
Founder and Managing Director of PGMall, Wira Louis Ng said, “Many local businesses especially the SMEs have been struggling financially since the implementation of Movement Recovery Order (MCO) last year. We hope with this partnership, we are able to help local business to stay afloat by offering them a channel to safeguard their business from further threat.”
Meanwhile, Abu Bakar Yusof, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MATRADE said, “We are committed to drive and expose Malaysia’s e-commerce segment and PGMall has been actively participating to support SMEs to digitalise their business through the campaign.”
PG Mall is set to reach a targeted GMV of RM600 million by end of the year.
