100-Days Of Malaysian Family Report Encouraging Progress

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob says his government has achieved 90% of the required elements laid for its first 100 days in power.

He said at the launch of the 100-day report card for his government, that the overall performance of the Cabinet, while not achieving 100% as targeted, shows the government has to continue engaging with the population.

He said the realisation of the Keluarga Malaysia government is based on six main cores and 140 key targets expected to be implemented within the first 100 days.

“The overall performance for the Cabinet in its 100 days in service has not yet reached 100% but at the moment, the performance stood about 90%,” he said at the launch of the 100-Day Malaysian Family Aspiration programme today.

“The 100-day report card is crucial to ascertain the direction, gain momentum to achieve higher living standards for Keluarga Malaysia,” he says.

The 90% achievement will inject determination and commitment for the Cabinet to continue working with the people.

“The full target of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is not impossible to achieve if all members of the Cabinet with the cooperation of civil servants, mobilize and provide the best and most effective services to Malaysian Families, by setting aside all the complicated bureaucracy.

Also present at the ceremony were Senior Ministers and the Cabinet as well as the top leadership of government ministries and agencies.

A total of 31 ministries and five agencies under the Prime Minister’s Department are required to achieve their targets based on evaluation on performance, leadership and public perception.

Between September 1 and December 9, the Office of the Chief Secretary to the Government, the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu), and the Shared Prosperity Delivery Unit (Sepadu) jointly monitored the 100-day performance.

The launch is accompanied by a four-day carnival between Dec 9 and 12 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, showcasing various ministerial achievements and services.
