HeiTech Padu Berhad which is well known for its technology and network infrastructure capability has landed the job of supplying, delivering, installing, test, commissioning including operations and Management of Network Infrastructure for the New Office of PNB at Merdeka 118.
According to reports, the contract value is listed to be RM22 million and is expected to be completed in over 42 months. The client Permodalan Nasional Berhad which is also the building owner of Merdeka 118 will be moving into the tower and has appointed HeiTech Padu for installing the networking infrastructure of its offices.
Merdeka 118 situated at the former Merdeka Stadium, is an iconic tower rising above the KL skyline overlooking the city. With the placing of the spire, the building is now the tallest in Southeast Asia and the second tallest in the world.
The project will be a significant milestone for HeiTech Padu in its 25-year history, the group has been developing ICT infrastructure for many of the government agencies and will now bring its expertise to the landmark development.
