Destini Receives RM89 Million MRO Contract Extension From MINDEF

Destini Berhad has secured two contracts from the Ministry of Defence Malaysia worth RM89 million in total to provide its services to the military.

Both the contracts were obtained by Destini Prima Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Destini. The first contract is an extension of an existing contract which is to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (“MRO”) services and the supply of safety and survival-related equipment for the Royal Malaysian Airforce. The contract extension expires in October 2022 and it has a ceiling value of approximately RM88 million.

The second contract is to provide MRO services and the supply of safety and survival related equipment for the Malaysian Army Aviation for the next 3 years with a contract value of RM0.99 million

With the award of both contracts, it strengthens the Group’s position in the defense aviation industry as Destini’s capabilities are continuously recognised by the Ministry and its affiliates. Moving forward, Destini is optimistic that it will be able to grow sustainably this year onwards.
