Exabytes Appoints Eric Foo As Executive VP And Head Of Enterprise Business

Exabytes has appointed Eric Foo as Executive VP & Head of Enterprise Business. Eric was Senior VP at Hitachi Sunway Information Systems. He will spearhead the enterprise business team with a focus on growing the division and leading potential merger & acquisitions.

”Eric will drive the “cloud-first digital transformation” for the enterprise businesses solutions for Malaysia and the South East Asia region, including Singapore and Indonesia, in line with Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint which encourages businesses to optimise their resources and expand operations and market beyond Malaysia. Eric has vast experience in business transformation, we look forward to stronger brand presence in the business enterprise segment with expanded product and service offerings and strong differentiation,” said Chan Kee Siak, Group CEO, Exabytes.

Eric brings 25 years of experience in product and business development, operations, sales and service. Prior to joining Exabytes, Eric was Senior VP and Head of Cloud, Security & Infrastructure Services at Hitachi Sunway Information System, a position he held for two and a half years after leaving Mesiniaga as the General Manager of Products, Services & Business Development for five years where he developed a new product portfolio that has contributed to business growth and profitability. Eric has also successfully built and led the business growth during his tenure with Astro and IBM Malaysia.
