KLCI Dipped Slightly on Profit Taking, All Ordinaries Inched Higher Pre-RBA

Kuala Lumpur, Apr 5 –Bursa Malaysia inched lower on Tuesday with profit-taking as the CI continued to whipsaw. The overnight US equities surged as Elon Musk’s Twitter announcement sent its shares 27% higher, with Tesla rallying by over 5.0%. HK and Mainland China stock markets were closed for holiday. The other major equities markets in the region were traded most flattish, as the holiday in HK and China has set for a quiet day, also increasing anxiety over China’s COVID condition. Over to the Australian market, as the expectation of pre-RBA announcement of a zero probability of a rate hike, has sent All Ordinaries ended higher, the rally was also helped along by the recovery in oil prices.
