Kuala Lumpur, Apr 21 –Bursa Malaysia ended higher, albeit slightly on Thursday with lackluster trading volume. Most of the stock markets in the Asia Pacific region closed mixed, as the debate as to whether inflation is peaking continues. With the hike in commodity prices due to the Russia-Ukraine war, it is unlikely to deter monetary policy tightening. However, the gloom is looming over the worries of an economic slowdown in China while U.S. treasury yields fell did offer some temporary relief for the broader market.
