Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Tan Sri Noh Bin Haji Omar, today announced a 15% dividend for Bank Rakyat 2021 financial year with the total payout amounting to MYR429.50 million.
According to Tan Sri Noh, the payment of dividends to members will commerce on 25th April 2022.
Meanwhile, he said the group continues to support its yearly mandated role to the corporative ecosystem by contributing 2% of its profit before taxation and zakat amounting MYR32.30 million to the Cooperative Education Trust Fund and 1% or MYR16.15 million to the Cooperative Development Provident Fund.
Total contribution to this cooperative funds for the year 2021 amounted toMYR 48.45 million, he added.
During the press conference, he also thank the group’s members and stakeholders for the support given throughout the year.
