Lifted by buying interest in selected heavyweights, Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session higher with then main index FBM KLCI had risen by 0.87% at midday, the FBM KLCI climbed 12.13 points at 1,412.49, from Tuesday’s closing of 1,400.36.
Whilst for market breadth, gainers outnumbered decliners 436 to 305, while 350 counters were unchanged.
Trading volume and value were at 1.19 billion units and RM709.22 million, respectively.
Some of the top gainers were Kuala Lumpur Kepong, Petronas Dagangan, PPB, Hong Leong Bank, Nestle.
Top decliners of the morning session were Dutch Lady Milk, Panasonic Manufacturing, Carlsberg Malaysia, MPI and United Plantation.
