Analysts expect the Employment Provident fund to declare a lower dividend tomorrow for 2022, they predict it to be within 5-6% due to the country’s continued recovery phase which resulted in lower investment for the year.
Overall investment into the country is still not as robust as we would want and that is understandable as we continue to recover from Covid 19, and this should be expected by everyone when EPF announces its dividend distribution.
For the record, for its 2021 distribution, the provident fund declared a 6.1% compared to 5.2% for 2022, these were among the more stellar distribution announced by the institution.
