MACC Investigating An NGO Collecting Donations For Palestine

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has confirmed that it is investigating Aman Palestin an NGO which has been collecting donations for Palestine.

In a statement, the top chief at MACC, Tan Sri Azam Baki said the Commission is obtaining documents from Aman Palestin and the banks and said it would be investigating in terms of the collection of donations and how the fund is spent.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been very vocal both domestically and on the international stage about Malaysia’s stand against the attack on Palestine’s people and has pledged to donate RM100 million for aid. He also warned those who trying to seek donations for the cause and misuse to funds for their own benefits.
