Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is set to introduce a groundbreaking vacuum cleaner lineup at CES® 2024, featuring advanced artificial intelligence (AI).
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™, a robot vacuum and mop cleaner, will redefine home cleaning with its enhanced AI capabilities and steam cleaning functionality.
Samsung Electronics Head of the Customer Experiene Team of Digital Appliances Business, Moohyung Lee expressed excitement about the innovative vacuum cleaner lineup, stating, “With powerful cleaning as a baseline, the new robot cleaner moves the consumer cleaning experience forward through innovative features. We firmly believe it will make cleaning more enjoyable for our customers.”
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ incorporates upgraded AI Object Recognition, expanding its capability to distinguish objects with the application of 3D sensors. This enhancement enables precise navigation, recognizing spaces and stains for a more tailored cleaning experience. The AI Object Recognition can categorize mapped areas like living rooms and kitchens, suggesting “no-go zones” automatically, ensuring the robot avoids designated areas.
When the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ detects a stain, it autonomously returns to the clean station. Here, it heats mop pads with high-temperature steam and water before returning to the stained area. Equipped with powerful spinning mops at 170 RPM, it actively scrubs off even tough stains, resulting in highly effective autonomous cleaning with minimal user intervention.
The model introduces AI Floor Detect, which allows it to sense the floor type. It can distinguish between hard floors and carpets, adjusting its suction power accordingly. This prevents carpets from getting wet and contaminated by dirty mop pads. The robot can decide whether to lift the mop pads or detach them at the clean station for an improved anti-cross contamination solution when detecting a carpet.
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ ensures a thorough last-minute cleaning experience. The clean station provides a 3-step Total Cleaning System for mop pads, including auto wash, steam cleaning, and auto-dry with hot air. This comprehensive process, involving hot water, high-temperature steam, and steam spraying, guarantees hygienic maintenance.
