Radisson Hotel Group Achieves Record Growth In 2023, Adding Over 30,000 Keys to International Portfolio

Radisson Hotel Group, concluded 2023 on a high note, marking a milestone in its history with unprecedented growth by incorporating over 30,000 keys into its international portfolio of 10 leading brands. This achievement comes as a testament to the Group’s robust expansion strategy and commitment to redefining the hospitality landscape.

Since the initiation of its transformation plan in 2018, Radisson Hotel Group has witnessed remarkable progress, expanding its business by nearly 50%. In 2023 alone, the Group celebrated a new company record by adding the largest number of keys to its portfolio, solidifying its position as a key player in the global hospitality industry.

The flagship Radisson Blu brand continued its dominance, securing its position as the largest upper upscale brand in Europe for the 12th consecutive year. The Radisson Collection brand, known for its premium lifestyle offerings, experienced significant growth with market debuts in India, Nigeria, Egypt, Lithuania, and expansions in existing markets like Belgium. The year also marked the highly anticipated opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia Milan, further enriching the brand’s presence in Italy.

Radisson Hotel Group strategically accelerated its global growth by partnering with PPHE to integrate the premium lifestyle art’otel brand into its portfolio. This move increased the Group’s brand portfolio to ten distinct brands, offering a unique blend of art and lifestyle. Notable openings included art’otel London Battersea Power Station, with upcoming openings in Rome and London Hoxton.

The Radisson Blu brand remained the fastest-growing in the industry, boasting nearly 40 new properties through openings and signings. Standout additions included the Radisson Blu Hotel at Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart and a new Radisson Blu hotel in the Triangle project in Paris, a landmark building designed by Herzog & de Meuron.

Radisson RED, known for its vibrant and bold approach, made notable entries into Serbia, Helsinki, and Georgia, expanding its footprint and introducing its social and hyper-connected hospitality to diverse destinations.

Recognising the increasing relevance of resorts, Radisson Hotel Group expanded its resort portfolio, including Radisson Blu Resort, Mani in Greece, Radisson Blu Resort, Kumbhalgarh in India, and Fridays Boracay, A Radisson Collection Resort in the Philippines. The Group’s commitment to responsible travel earned it the Sustainable Business Award at the Global Travel Hall of Fame and the Environmental Impact Award at A World for Travel.

Radisson Hotel Group received several prestigious awards, including being recognised as the third-best employer worldwide in the Travel and Leisure industry by Forbes Magazine. The Group’s leading website and app, RadissonHotels.com, also received accolades for its innovative Immersive Content Project.
