Tropicana Corporation has redesignated Din Tan Yong Chia 31, from executive director to Group Managing Director effective 19 March 2024.
Din Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Cass Business School, City University, London in 2014 and obtained a Master of Science in Management with information Systems and Digital Innovation from London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom in 2015. After an internship with Morgan Stanley in their Private Wealth Management division, Din Tan joined the Digital Marketing division of a local tech start-up for a year, prior to joining Tropicana Corporation Berhad Group’s Marketing Department.
His father, Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Chee Sing, is the Group Executive Vice Chairman and a major shareholder of Tropicana Corporation Berhad while his brother, Mr Dion Tan Yong Chien, is the Group Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Tropicana. His brother in-law, Jared Ang Tzer Shen, is the Group Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Tropicana.
