Tengku Zafrul To Seek Legal Advice To Correct Certain Factual Errors In Affidavit

Minister of Investment Trade and Industry, Tengku Zafrul has issued an official statement with regards to the Affidavit in relation to the high court case involving Dato Seri Najib Razak.

In the statement Zafrul said he would like to record that having had sight of the Supplementary Affidavit No. 3 affirmed by Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Bin Hamidi with regards to the legal proceedings instituted by Najib Razak by way of Judicial Review Proceedings, Zafrul will be taking steps to obtain appropriate legal advice and seek to write to the High Court to ask for permission or leave to file an affidavit to correct certain factual errors contained in the affidavit in question.

Zafru said he takes no position in so far as the merits of the on-going dispute is concerned but is merely ensuring that the factual record is properly reflected and recorded so that all parties and in particular the High Court is properly appraised of all material facts.

Earlier today it is reported that Zahid Hamidi revealed to be the witness who filed testimony in support for Najib;s bid to compel the Federal Government and the Pardon board to produce a purported supplementary order from the previous Agong. He also claimed Tengku Zafrul had affirmed the orders existence during a meeting.
