Priceworth Proposes Name Change To Maxland Berhad

Priceworth International Berhad informed that it is proposing to change its name from Priceworth International Berhad to Maxland Berhad after getting approval from the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

The company has the reservation for the use of the proposed name extended to 24 July 2024, however it said the proposed change of name is subject to the approval of the shareholders of the company at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened on Tuesday, 28 May 2024.

A circular to shareholders with details of the Proposed Change of Name will be issued to the shareholders on 6 May 2024.

Priceworth International Bhd is principally an investment holding company with several wholly-owned subsidiaries. Since its inception in 1992, PWIB has developed a strong presence in the Malaysian timber industry.

PWIB was listed on the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia in 2001 and was upgraded to the Main Board in 2004
