Renowned South Korean actor and singer Lee Joon Gi will hold his inaugural fan meeting in Malaysia, marking his debut appearance in the country. The event, part of his 2024 Asia Tour, will be held on September 22 at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur, starting from 6 PM.
Organized by Lo-Fi Entertainment and Hit Maker Entertainment, with Sliding Doors Entertainment as Co-Organizer, the fan meeting is titled “LEE JOON GI ASIA TOUR <JOONGI’S DAY: FESTIVAL>.” Fans will have the opportunity to interact with the star and enjoy live performances showcasing his dance and vocal talents.
Lee Joon Gi, who first gained prominence for his role in the film “The King and the Clown” and the popular series “My Girl,” has since earned the title of “King of Sageuk” for his lead roles in historical dramas like “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” “Scholar Who Walks the Night,” and “Arang and the Magistrate.” His versatility extends to various K-drama genres, including “Arthdal Chronicles,” “Again My Life,” and “Flower of Evil.” Lee also made his Hollywood debut in “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.”
The actor’s career is marked by numerous awards from prestigious film and drama festivals, including South Korea’s Grand Bell Awards and international accolades from the Hawaii International Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival.
In addition to his acting, Lee Joon Gi is a singer with a diverse musical repertoire and is skilled in martial arts, holding black belts in taekwondo, hapkido, and taekkyeon.
