Lagenda Properties Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Vivafirst Sdn Bhd, had on March 20, 2025, entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Land & General Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Bright Term Sdn Bhd, for the proposed acquisition of six plots of freehold lands for RM60.2 million.
In a Bursa filing, Lagenda Properties said the proposed acquisition entails the acquisition of six plots of freehold lands measuring approximately 138.17 acres in land area in Pekan Sungai Gadut, Daerah Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
The subject lands offer excellent connectivity via major highways ensuring easy access to Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley and strategically located just 13km away from Seremban town centre.
Lagenda Properties said the proposed acquisition will be funded by a combination of internally generated funds and bank borrowings.
“Once the acquisition completes, it will provide the group with an opportunity to establish its presence in Negeri Sembilan, making it the sixth state in the group’s nationwide expansion.
“This entry also enables the group to leverage its expertise in developing affordable housing solutions to meet the rising demand for quality, budget-friendly residential developments in the region,” it added.
