GamBit Group has officially launched its Hybrid Asset Trust (H.A.T) at the Malaysia 50+ Expo 2025, marking a significant advancement in estate planning and wealth management. The innovative platform integrates both traditional and digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and tokenised holdings, providing Malaysians with a comprehensive solution to manage and secure their wealth.
H.A.T, created by the GamBit Consortium, is designed to cater to the evolving needs of modern investors, particularly younger, tech-savvy Malaysians. With a low entry point of just RM10,000, the platform aims to make estate planning accessible to a broader demographic. The solution is licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia and includes robust regulatory oversight, ensuring secure custody and inheritance planning for both traditional and digital assets.
Group CEO of GamBit, Datuk Clifford Hii, highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between conventional and digital assets, enabling estate planning that is relevant for today’s investors and future generations. This launch comes as Malaysia’s digital asset market is expected to reach US$296.7 million by 2025, with 64% of retail investors already holding digital assets.
H.A.T addresses a critical need in Malaysia, as many existing wealth management solutions overlook the inclusion of digital assets, leaving them vulnerable to theft or loss. With H.A.T, users can now secure their digital and traditional assets under one regulated platform, safeguarding their legacies in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
The launch at the Malaysia 50+ Expo 2025 aligns with the event’s theme of “Re:imaging Aging, Embrace the Future,” promoting financial security and inheritance planning for seniors and future retirees.
