GTA–EPI Pact Keeps Malaysia Flying High In Aerospace MRO

Global Turbine Asia (GTA) has signed a key contract with Original Equipment Manufacturer Europrop International (EPI) at the Paris Airshow 2025 to maintain technical support for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF) A400M aircraft.

The agreement ensures continued maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the TP400-D6 engines that power the RMAF’s strategic airlifters, securing the supply of spare parts and event-based services to sustain operational readiness.

With this deal, GTA remains the only non-European company authorised to provide TP400-D6 engine support to the RMAF, including Level 1 and Level 2 (on-base) maintenance. This positions GTA as a critical player in Malaysia’s defence self-reliance and aerospace development.

The signing was witnessed by Minister of Defence Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and formalised by GTA Executive Chairman Dato’ Nonee Ashirin binti Dato’ Mohd Radzi and EPI President Catherine Poincheval.
