TanahAir Films has announced the staging of Konsert Legasi P. Ramlee, set for Sept 20, 2025, at Mega Star Arena Kuala Lumpur. The concert, featuring over 30 of the late icon’s timeless songs, will be led by a 60-piece orchestra under the musical direction of Dato’ Ramli MS, Datuk Mokhzani Ismail, Helen Yap and Michael Veerapen.
Part of the broader Projek Perdana P. Ramlee initiative, the concert blends classical and contemporary interpretations of P. Ramlee’s repertoire, presented through medleys, duets and solo performances. Artistes slated to perform include Dato’ Jamal Abdillah, Datuk Zainalabidin, Ella, Mimi Fly, Nadeera and Liza Hanim.
Tribute performers P. Radhi, Danie Hasbullah and Musly Ramlee — known for channelling P. Ramlee’s vocal and stage persona — will also take the stage.
The concert marks the second phase of the Projek Perdana P. Ramlee following the launch of the Legasi Podcast in 2024. Tickets go on sale June 27 via www.ticket2u.com.my.
