7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Berhad has announced the resignation of its non-independent non-executive director Tsai Tzung-Han, citing personal reasons.
The convenience store operator said Tsai’s resignation took effect on July 3, 2026.
Tsai, 50, is the son of Tsai Hong-Tu, a major shareholder of 7-Eleven Malaysia through his indirect shareholding in Classic Union Group Ltd.
At the time of his resignation, Tsai was deemed to have an indirect interest in 291.4 million ordinary shares of 7-Eleven Malaysia held through Classic Union Group Ltd under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2016.
The company also confirmed that Tsai had no conflict of interest with 7-Eleven Malaysia. No successor to the board position was announced.
