Majuperak Holdings Berhad announced the termination of a Sales and Purchase Agreement for the disposal of two parcels of land in Ipoh, Perak, along with the “Brewster Village” building. The sale, valued at RM18.4 million, was to Ladang Lekir Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perak Agro Oil Palm Sdn. Bhd., which is in turn a wholly-owned subsidiary of Perbadanan Pembangunan Pertanian Negeri Perak.
The termination notice was served by LLSB to Syarikat Majuperak Berhad, MHB’s wholly-owned subsidiary, on June 25, 2025. LLSB cited the non-compliance or non-fulfilment of conditions, particularly that the conditions were not met within the extended conditional period.
Majuperak Holdings Berhad has stated that the termination of this SPA will not have any material impact on the net assets, net earnings, earnings per share, or gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.
