The Employees Provident Fund Board (EPF) has reported a change in its direct interest in AXIS Real Estate Investment Trust (AXIS REIT) through a series of transactions on July 29, 2025. This notification was made public in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia on 1 August.
On the specified date, EPF acquired 3,140,300 units of AXIS REIT. Concurrently, the fund also transferred out two blocks of units: 1,300,730 units and another 1,300,730 units. These transfers suggest internal portfolio adjustments or reallocations within the EPF’s various investment mandates.
Following these transactions, EPF’s total direct interest in AXIS REIT now stands at 394,538,991 units, representing a direct shareholding of 19.524%. The fund continues to be a substantial unitholder in AXIS REIT.
