According to the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry, more than 100 ministers, senior officials and industry leaders will be attending the meeting that is held under the theme “Accelerating Sustainable, Affordable, Reliable, Secure and Innovative Energy for a Prosperous Future”. The meeting will culminate in a Joint Ministerial Statement outlining regional commitments.
The ministry added that Fadillah will also attend the Clean Energy Ministerial, Mission Innovation Ministerial and the World Climate Industry Expo, while holding bilateral talks with counterparts from South Korea, Hong Kong China, New Zealand and Brunei to advance Malaysia’s energy transition agenda.
“His itinerary includes visits to Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power’s Saeul plant, Doosan Enerbility, and the Gangbyeon Wastewater Treatment Plant, reflecting Malaysia’s interest in technology transfer, training, and sustainable urban infrastructure,” the ministry shared.
