Malaysians can now access and manage their BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) fuel subsidy directly through the TNG eWallet app without needing to show their MyKad, according to TNG Digital Sdn Bhd.
The feature allows users to check eligibility, track subsidised balances, and make payments at all participating petrol stations using a single app. As all users are verified through electronic Know-Your-Customer (eKYC), there is no need for manual identity checks at the pump.
TNG eWallet’s integration with PETRONAS via Setel also enables users to refuel directly within the app, with similar tie-ups being explored with other oil companies. Instructional videos have been released across TNG Digital’s social platforms to help users navigate the new system.
