Propel Global Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Propel CMT Sdn. Bhd, in joint venture with China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. has received a Letter of Acceptance from a multinational company based in Singapore for an initial civil and structural works package for a data centre development in Johor Bahru.
The contract, valued at approximately RM70 million, covers civil and structural construction works and is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026. The Letter of Acceptance also includes provisions for potential subsequent phases, which are expected to be confirmed by the end of 2025. If awarded, these additional works would increase the total estimated value of the overall project to approximately RM325 million.
