Prestar Resources Berhad has announced a leadership transition involving key retirement and redesignations within the Group, effective 19 June 2026.
Under the new leadership structure, Dato’ Toh Yew Peng will retire from his role as Group Managing Director and will continue supporting Prestar in an advisory capacity as Senior Advisor. He will also remain as a director at subsidiary level.
Meanwhile, Toh Yew Seng has been redesignated from Group Executive Director to Executive Vice Chairman.
Kenny Toh Jin Tat has been redesignated as the new Group Managing Director, while Andy Toh Jin Hong has been redesignated as Deputy Group Managing Director.
Prestar said the revised leadership structure is intended to strengthen management depth, improve execution capabilities and provide clearer leadership coverage as the Group continues to expand and manage increasing business complexity.
The Board expressed its appreciation to Dato’ Toh Yew Peng for his contributions and leadership in guiding Prestar’s development.
The company said the new leadership arrangement would allow Prestar to maintain strategic momentum while enhancing operational effectiveness across its businesses.
Prestar added that the Group remains focused on pursuing sustainable growth opportunities, strengthening its business fundamentals and creating long-term value for shareholders.
