The Kelana Jaya Line has resumed its full operations at 7:41am today after repair works were completed following an early-morning incident involving a maintenance vehicle that slipped off the track at the Universiti Station, damaging the signalling system.
The rail operator, Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, said a detailed investigation is underway to determine the cause and implement preventive measures.
During the disruption, Rapid Rail shared that it has activated alternative train services and shuttle buses to assist commuters, while auxiliary police and station staff were deployed to manage congestion at affected stations.
It also mentioned that its operations team will continue close monitoring to ensure service stability and advised passengers to follow its social media channels for the latest updates.
