Sunway College recorded strong outcomes in the November 2025 British and Australian pre-university examinations, reinforcing its standing in Malaysia’s Cambridge GCE A-Level and Australian Matriculation pathways.
In the Cambridge Assessment International Education examinations, the college achieved a 100% pass rate, with 51.8% of candidates obtaining straight As.
The results extend Sunway College’s record as the highest recipient of Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for the eleventh consecutive year.
Professor Cheng Mien Wee, Director of Pre-University Studies at Sunway College, attributed the performance to a combination of student discipline, academic support and teaching quality.
“We attribute our students’ continued success in these acclaimed British and Australian pre-university qualifications to their honing Sunway’s culture of excellence, their lecturers’ dedication, and the academically stimulating ecosystem at Sunway College”, he said.
Similarly strong results were recorded in the Western Australia Certificate of Education examinations. About 28% of students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, placing them among the top 10% globally, while 58% attained ATAR scores of 80 and above, ranking within the top 20% worldwide.
A total of 2,745 students achieved ATAR scores of 70 and above.
Several students were ranked among the top 2% globally, led by Shaun Lee Dingguo with an ATAR of 99.6, followed by Natalie Lim Wei Xing at 99.05 and Tristan Khor Wye Hong at 98.85, alongside others with ATAR scores above 98.
In addition, Sunway College AUSMAT students secured 25 Book Prizes from Australian universities in 2026.
This reflects continued recognition of academic performance within the international pre-university landscape.
The latest results underline consistent performance across both British and Australian pre-university programmes offered by Sunway College.
