Bvlgari Rings In The Lunar New Year With Limited-Edition Icons

Bvlgari is stepping into the Lunar New Year with a tightly edited line-up of exclusive and limited-edition pieces across jewellery, watches, accessories and fragrance. Created to mark the Year of the Horse, the collection focuses on movement, confidence and fresh starts.

The standout piece is a Special Edition Horse Brooch in yellow gold, adapted from a 1970s design. It took 130 hours to design and a further 50 hours to make, and is set with more than 40 cabochon rubies, pavé diamonds and black onyx. It’s bold, graphic and unmistakably symbolic — a piece that’s meant to be worn with intent rather than kept in a jewellery box.

Serpenti features heavily across the collection, reworked with a festive edge. The Serpenti Viper necklace and single-coil bangle are crafted in rose gold and finished with ruby accents, a subtle nod to prosperity. The Serpenti Pallini necklace takes a more heritage-led approach, using soldered gold boules inspired by Bvlgari’s 1950s craftsmanship, alongside diamonds, rubies and black onyx details.

There’s also a limited-edition Bvlgari Bvlgari set created exclusively for Greater China. Mixing yellow and rose gold with carnelian and mother-of-pearl, the selection includes a necklace, bracelet, single stud earring and a reversible flip-disc bracelet. The result is a cleaner, more graphic take on the house’s double-logo design, with just enough colour to keep it feeling seasonal.

Watches are not overlooked. The limited-edition Serpenti Seduttori Automatic features a ruby-red guilloché dial that brings a strong visual hit without overpowering the design. Inside, the slim Lady Solotempo automatic movement keeps the profile sleek, balancing technical credibility with everyday wearability.

Accessories complete the story. The Serpenti Cuore 1968 bag returns in Light Amethyst calf leather with its sculptural snake handle, while the new Serpenti Cuoricino introduces a smaller, heart-shaped version in Royal Ruby or Dusty Pink. Both are designed to feel special without being precious — pieces that work beyond the festive season.

Rounding things off, Bvlgari Parfums introduces a Lunar New Year fragrance box in red, decorated with the brand’s signature motifs. Designed to hold two or three fragrances, including Pour Homme, Eau Parfumée, Omnia or Allegra, it offers a flexible, considered take on seasonal gifting rather than a one-size-fits-all set.

With a mix of heritage designs and seasonal updates, Bvlgari’s Year of the Horse collection sets the tone for a Lunar New Year that’s both stylish and symbolic.
