Adidas is bringing pets into the 2026 FIFA World Cup build-up with a new lifestyle drop that’s aimed squarely at fans who already treat matchdays as a full family affair. The FIFA World Cup 2026 Home Jerseys Pet Collection takes the official home kits of Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Japan and turns them into wearable jerseys for dogs and cats.
The key point here is that these aren’t just mini human shirts. Each piece is designed around pet movement and comfort, while maintaining the same visual identity as the national team kits. Colours, logos and overall design details match the on-pitch versions, so pets can sit firmly in the same team aesthetic as their owners.
Instead of using heavy stitching or raised detailing, adidas has opted for heat-transferred crests and branding. That choice of stitching keeps the jerseys lighter and reduces bulk, which matters when the garment is sitting on a moving animal rather than a static mannequin. It also creates a smoother finish to help avoid rubbing or irritation.
Fit has clearly been a focus, too. The jerseys are shaped with a more natural cut for different body types, using elasticated sections and a contoured design to help them stay in place without restricting movement. The idea is straightforward: something that looks like a football kit but behaves more like practical pet wear.
The collection launches on May 1, rolling out across selected markets including North and Latin America as well as parts of Asia such as Japan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia. It will be sold through adidas stores, selected retailers and the brand’s online store.
