TNG Digital Launches BizCash To Expand SME Financing Via CIMB Partnership

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has launched BizCash, a fully digital in-app financing platform on TNG eWallet aimed at improving access to funding for micro and small businesses, with CIMB Bank Bhd as its first partner.

The platform allows SSM-registered sole proprietors to apply for financing ranging from RM10,000 to RM150,000 through a fully digital process without branch visits or paperwork. It targets small businesses with at least RM4,200 monthly revenue and a minimum one year of operations.

TNG Digital chief executive officer Alan Ni said many small merchants remain underserved by traditional financing due to simpler structures and limited documentation.

“Many of our merchants are sole proprietors who rely on steady cash flow to sustain and grow their businesses, yet remain underserved by traditional financing. Improving access to formal financial tools for these everyday entrepreneurs is a core priority for us. With BizCash, we are building a platform that connects merchants to financing partners, starting with CIMB, to deliver faster and more accessible funding while supporting their long-term growth,” he said.

CIMB Bank Bhd co-chief executive officer, group commercial and transaction banking Lawrence Loh said the partnership expands SME financing reach through digital channels.

“Our collaboration with TNG Digital on BizCash reflects CIMB’s continued focus on leveraging digital partnerships to expand access to financing for micro and small businesses, in line with our purpose of Advancing Customers and Society. Through this partnership, we aim to support more businesses in managing their cash flow effectively while enabling them to pursue new opportunities for growth,” he said.

TNG Digital said BizCash will be expanded to include more financing partners under its GOfinance ecosystem.
